Anne’s Story

Dreams do come true!

“Going to college was always a dream of mine, but after I graduated high school in 2015, it all became real that this dream of mine may not become a reality considering that my parents could not afford to pay for my college. All that time when I was dreaming, God was writing a story that I was not aware of. In 2019, I met Mr. Hinchey, who at that time was a missionary that I was translating for, not knowing that God was writing a bigger story. God, through Mr. Hinchey, made it possible for me to attend college, the dream that seemed so far gone, and pursue my dreams of becoming a nurse. The Hinchey family have accepted me into their family and loved me more than I could have ever asked for. I am blessed beyond measure to be part of the Hinchey family and hope to one day help my family and others back in Haiti.”
